Hello, I'm Sue. I have been practicing yoga for nearly 30 years, qualifying as a teacher in 2018. I have done various courses since, and was delighted to qualify as a Yoga For Cancer teacher in 2024. I now teach Yoga Care For Cancer classes in and around Belper and Somercotes in Derbyshire.

I began my love of yoga over 30 years ago, attending many styles of classes and with different teachers over the years. I trained to teach it myself almost 10 years ago now, first as a Teen Yoga teacher as I was working in a sixth form at the time and could see how yoga could really help young people. I loved teaching this so much that I continued to train in Hatha and Yin Yoga to start working with more age groups and communities. I have more recently taken various additional training and study, including Yoga for cancer; Yoga for chronic fatigue, burn out & long covid; meditation; mindfulness; and understanding trauma, anxiety and depression.
