Sabrina Facco
Sabrina Facco is an experienced and dedicated yoga teacher based in Genoa, Italy, specializing in therapeutic, somatic, and oncology yoga. Her path with yoga began over a decade ago, earning her 500-hour Hatha and Raja Yoga Teaching Diploma in 2013. Driven by a profound wish to support individuals navigating health challenges and life transitions, Sabrina has since dedicated her career to bringing the gentle, restorative benefits of yoga into clinical and supportive settings.
Currently, Sabrina teaches Oncology Yoga both within the oncology department at San Martino Hospital in Genoa and through the non-profit association "Braccialetti Bianchi". She also works with Parkinson’s patients, guiding online Somatic Yoga sessions to support mobility, body awareness, and emotional well-being. Her background includes formal training in Somatic Competence Yoga from the Institute of Integrated Psychosomatics in Milan and Postural Rehabilitation Yoga Therapy.
Sabrina’s approach is deeply rooted in compassion, mindful movement, and active listening. Alongside her yoga journey, she has a rich 20-year background in Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and study, having spent extended periods living, studying, and volunteering in international monastic centers. She has also served as an English-to-Italian translator for Buddhist teachings, refining her ability to communicate complex, heart-centered teachings with clarity and care.
Now a proud graduate of the Yoga for Cancer Academy, Sabrina integrates evidence-informed oncology yoga into her practice to create safe, welcoming, and empowering spaces. She is passionate about helping patients and survivors slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and find inner comfort, calm, and strength throughout their healing journey.
